Here's a very nice seed display box for your country store collection or home

This old flower seed box has sat in our collection for some time, and now it's time for it to have a new home.  It is a seed package display box for Page's Flower Seeds, a company founded in 1896 in Greene, NY.  Based on its design, construction, materials, etc., we estimate this box to date around 1900 - 1920's.
It is made of oak, and has finger cut joints.  The box measures ~ 11" in width x ~ 5 1/4" in height x ~ 7 1/2" in depth.
It retains the original hasp, hinges and lid support mechanisms.  The top does have a few scratches from age, but it also has a great aged patina.
The interior graphics are in very good condition, as shown in the accompanying photos.  The interior lid shows 2 colonial era
Paige's
presenting 'Page's Tested Seeds'.  The front section is hinged, and drops down to allow an unobstructed view of the seed packages, and has a paper label showing the price of 10
¢.  The interior is divided into 12 separate sections.  The bottom half of one of the section dividers has been broken - It still separates the section as it should, but somewhere along the line it has been broken.  It isn't visually offensive, but it needs to be pointed out.
All in all, this is a great old seed box, and it will make a great addition to your collection!
