Vintage Farm Brass Grain Probe Sampler Seed Trade Reporting Bureau Chicago ill

This listing is for a 3 piece vintage grain or seed probe.
The tag reads "THE SEED TRADE REPORTING BUREAU  CHICAGO, ILL."
Both of the long pieces are made of brass. The inner tube rotates, to open the slots, once the probe has been inserted into the grain or seed bin. Then it is rotated again to close the slots, the probe is removed,
and the grain or seeds can be studied/evaluated/weighed.
The outer brass tube is appx 34" long, the inner brass tube is appx 38" long and
the center probe is 19" long is metal (with rust) and a brass top rim, it is marked "G.J Zett S.F."
