    Description

From a Tucson, Arizona collector's estate:
Vintage California Rancho Craft Monterey Style Wooden Letter Holder.
This is an example of Mexican motif craft arts that were most likely made in California for sale at tourist markets such as Olivera St in Los Angeles and Old Town in San Diego. The most famous artist of this period was Juan Duran Tinoco.
Circa 1940's to 1950's. Very well painted "typical" Mexican scene with two
    campesinos
    wearing wonderful and colorful serapes.
The box measures 7¾ inches in length, 6½ inches high and 4½ inches deep.
Very good condition for its age: slight paint loss to the painted scene and some wear along edges.
Please examine all of the photos carefully and ask any questions before bidding.
Shipping is .95 to U.S. addresses (lower 48 states only).
