This is a sixth plate ambrotype. Case measures 3.25" x 3.75" and photo measures 2.75" x 3.25". I measure either the glass itself (when a frame is missing) or the image within the frame, around the frame (the photo provided on the listing). If there is a case, the portion which holds the image is measured and not both together. If it is in a case, the case is scanned married. If the case is separated, I scan the case separately to show it is not married. I scan to provide the photo for this listing. Usually it looks much better than it appears in the scans. See scans for condition.
