    Description

    Nice original Civil War M1855 percussion cap box. Overall very good solid condition with all stitching intact. Leather is nice and sound with no crazing or flaking. All straps, "dog ears", and tabs are complete and in excellent shape too. Marked "U.S. ORD. DEPT." SUB INSPECTOR R NECE" on the exterior flap. Almost all of the original wool is present. Vent pick present as well.
