    Description

    Up for sale is this ultra rare Mickey Mouse leather zipper wallet made around 1948.
    I have researched high and low for another example of this Walt Disney item and have come up empty.
    The front of the wallet is embossed with a colorful southwestern style scene of Mickey Mouse twirling a lasso.
    The back has an embossed decoration of a band with stars and a silhouette of a cowboy on a bucking bronco framed in a circle.
    The main color of the wallet is reddish-brown.

    "IMPORTED PIGSKIN" is gilded at the bottom edge of the coin pouch.
    Zipper company name "MARVEL" on pull.
    Wallet is in original box that it was in when given to my father as a 6 year old child.
    This item has remained in a controlled environment since it was given to him.
