Description
This BIAS RELIEF in MAHOGANY was DEEPLY carved by an unknown MEXICAN ARTIST who was visiting Caracas, Venezuela back in about 1974.It is made from thick wood with no splits after 46 years.
And, it is quite unique.
The subject of the amazing sculpture shows a WARRIOR HOLDING DOWN AND CONQUERING AN EAGLE.
Back then oil prices were good and it was a happy time in Venezuela,
The artwork is solid, THICK MAHOGANY WOOD measuring 27.5" tall, 15" wide, and 1.5" thick.
In one of the scans, I have laid a 12" ruler across part of the artwork to show size.
It was once mounted on a wall and still in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT CONDITION.
On the back of the large mahogany slab, the artist placed a happy Venezuelan post card.
Mailing can only be made to USA buyers at .00.
It is heavy.
Buenos Suerte.
