Lionel 2625 Irvington Pullman Car - 1947 - OB

This is an Original
Lionel Post-War 2625 Irvington Heavyweight Pullman Car.
I believe this 2625 Irvington Pullman car is from 1947.
Both the Art Deco OB with Toy Manufacturers Logo, the early unwrapped coil Couplers and pick-up wiring directly through the Light Bracket rather than through the frame floor were characteristics of 1947 cars.
The box is missing flaps from one end and still includes the original liner.
The exterior condition of this car I believe would grade it to C-7. The Reddish Brown finish is very nice, showing no noticeable contact or scrape marks and the frame and trucks are corrosion free.
The only flaw that is present with this car is slight damage to the brittle bakelite screw gussets on the inside of the car. These are sometimes damaged at the factory and fracture whenever original screws are removed. I have attached one photo showing this.
The screws still hold firmly and present no operating problems.
