Vintage Huichol Mexican Folk Art Yarn Wall Painting
On Plywood.
One-of-a-kind.

Origin: Jalisco, Mexico
Vibrant square yarn painting made by the indigenous Huichol people of Jalisco, Mexico.  This painting was made with colored yarn applied using a natural adhesive mixture of beeswax and pine resin over a sheet of wood.
Measures:  15-3/4" x 15-3/4"
Weighs:  1 lb. 3 oz. before packing.
This is a lovely piece which I found at a thrift store.  I do not know the age nor the real value.  Please let me know if price is too high.  In very good condition.
Clean and ready to hang.  LOVELY!!!
