Up for Auction is this Huge Ambrotype of a Woman Playing a Clavicord with a Beautiful Little Girl Looking on in Very Nice Condition. I added a 16oz bottle of water for size comparison and is not included! The photos do not do this photo justice and it is museum quality! This measures a whopping 7"x 9" and has a paper backing. There are two chips that you can see in the photos, the top one I re-glued after it was broken off at an estate sale. This photo is over 180 years old? I am not familiar with the difference between an Ambrotype and a Daguerreotype but if you collect these, you know. I have placed it in a vintage 8 x 10 frame to protect the ambrotype. I have never seen one this big and with such a wonderful look into the past, truly a piece of history. I have tried to give you good photos and what you see is what you will get. This lovely photo is sold AS-IS.
