    Description

Freeblown Pittsburgh Footed Vase. Great form, execution, complexity, and consistancy of construction. The glass is clear with a very pronounced pink tint. This was
purchased in an Pittsburgh area antique shop about fourty years ago from a group of freeblown clear items that had come in together. I would put the age at
1850-1880's. The "color" just jumps at you in a group of actually/totally clear items.
Inward rolled top lip. Inwood rolled lip on belled foot. The base inside the foot has a lot of glass left at the pontil. The construction components are as follows -
Belled foot, hollow bulb, two waffers, bowl/vase. Each piece is hand blown (hand made) and assembled with great skill and grace.
Condition is great. There are a few light scratches as expected with age, but no damage or issues.
    9" Tall
    Bowl is approx 5" Wide
Guaranteed to be as described and extremely well packed.
