    NOTE FROM SELLER
Hello. Let me introduce myself; I am Mike and I am a very successful seller on eBay because I have high-quality items and have an impeccable record of customer service. Although my prices may seem at a premium, they are more than fair. All items are inspected and cleaned by me so that you are assured of getting what you see and what you pay for. Let me tell you a bit of how eBay works; First of all, there is a cost to me for listing each item. Then between eBay and paypal I pay 15 percent of the total revenue from a sold item in “final value” fees. This includes a fee on the shipping price as well (which I’ll never understand and I’ve fought with eBay countless times so that I can keep my prices down but to no avail). So eBay takes from me on the “front end” and also on the “back end”. eBay charges me, so I have to charge you. I have to buy packing materials including mailing bags, tape, paper and ink.
I used to run sales but but do not anymore because they are low-yield and on top of that, customers want you to come down even more on the price. I understand wanting to get a deal, but when you devalue your items and show they are not worth anything to you then they are not worth anything anybody, so my prices will stay the same. I also used to entertain negotiation but usually I received offers from customers wanting 50 percent discount right off the top. Those are not credible offers so I don’t bother anymore. As I said, my items are priced fairly from the beginning. I select usually very unique items. Items that I would want in my own collections so they are not available from any other sellers. You want them? They are here. If not then I donate them for tax purposes. This is a business. Thank you.
