    Description

    This is an Emilia Castillo, stamped silver-plated, articulated fish bottle opener, that I purchased at Neiman Marcus in San Francisco, CA in 1996.  Never used, but kept clean and stored.
    A Fine Quality Silverplate Figurative - Articulated Fish Bottle Opener. Signed and made in the Taxco Region of Mexico by Emilia Castillo. Her father Antonio Castillo was a noted silversmith who trained under renowned silversmith and architect, William Spratling.   This is a completely hand made and a very good quality piece - Heavy - Sturdy Construction. The Tail is Marked Plateado (Plated), Emila Castillo Mexico, etc. It is in Very Good Condition.. It Measures 7 1/2 inches Long x 2 5/8 inches Tall x 1 1/16 inches Wide.
