Offered Here, is an Antique, New England "Estate-Selling-Venue" Recovered, Small, Circular, 19th. Century "Bullseye" Glass Window-Paine. The Circular Shaped, Paine is Concave, on One-of-the-Sides, while the Other-Side is More-Flat and Features a Very Concise, Thick, "Solid-Pontil-Rod-Scar", that is Sticking-Out or Relieved a Good Bit, from the Very Center of the Disc.The Seller of these Old Glass Window-Paines had Several Other Paines of Various Shapes and Sizes, which were All Free-Blown and Found, Inside of Early Wooden Doors on Structures in the Region of Cape Cod Massachusetts.
It is a Rare Occasion to find a "Citroen-Yellow" Early Blown-Glass Window-Paine, as Normally they are Seen in Various Shades of Aquamarine or Clear-Colored Glass, with some Occasional, Light Olive or "Golden-Amber" Tones. The Amber Examples are often attributed to the Westford or Willington (Bottle) Glass-Works of Connecticut, but I believe others May have been Made of "Flint-Glass" at some of the New England "Flint-Glass" Factories as Well, Including the Boston + Sandwich Glass Company on Cape Cod Massachusetts, (1825-88).
CONDITION: "Excellent" Original, Antique, New England "Estate-Selling-Venue" Condition w/ NO BREAKS, NO CHIPS, NO CRACKS, NO OPEN-BUBBLES, NO "POT-STONE RADIATIONS", NO DISTRACTING SCRATCHES OR ABRASIONS, NO FLEA-BITES, NO STRIKES OR IMPACT DINGS. Some Light Age-Related Wear around the Edges Mostly and Some Light, Indications of Usage + Handling.
