DIE CUT BAKING WHEEL FOR FORMAY SHORTENING. PLUS 5 PAGE PROMOTIONAL BOOKLET.
The wheel (10” in diameter) can be worked from both sides thus offering 42 recipes using Formay Shortening.  The fold-out brochure (6” x 3 ½) promotes in “new-type” shortening and offers 10 recipes. Circa 1935.
For a few years in the thirties and forties, Formay Shortening was a serious rival to Crisco.
Including two photographs downloaded from the internet which show women adding labels to cans of Formay and a large outdoor advertising billboard for Formay.  ( E-4121).
