Chestnut bottle, free blown, pontil, New England. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
8 1/2 inches tall.  This bottle is in excellent condition, having no scratches, nicks or damage.  It has the kind of base wear you would expect for a 200 year old bottle that has spent most of it's life displayed on a shelf.  The applied lip is uneven and there are small ribbons and spots of uneven glass that can be seen in the photos.  The color is a pleasing combination of olive amber that is not too strong on the green and there are yellow undertones.
It's color and form strongly establish this as a product from the New England family of glass houses.  This is an excellent example of what those houses produced.
