Circa 1860s Antique 9th plate size Ambrotype Portrait in Case; Portrait of a young man in suit and hat.  Found by previous owner in North Carolina.  Possibly a sailor or Mexican American War style forage cap.  Approximate case when closed size is 2-1/2" x 3".  Condition: case has light soiling, scuffs and edge wear.  light soiling to photograph, brass mat, and preserver.  Please see photos for additional condition review.
