    Description

    This original Artillery Horse Bridle Rosette is a Model 1863, as evidenced by the intertwined lettering of the USA.
    It was used on the leather headstalls of the horses that pulled the cannons and ammunition carriages.
    It is in great condition, with an intact hook on the back (these are usually missing).
    The heavy brass rosette is solder-filled, which added weight and strength to the stamped brass rosette.
