"Geometric", Listed Berg 3-38s [scarce]
Manufactured by Holmes, Booth, and Haydens.  c.1857
Interior can hold 1 1/4 Plate Size Photograph
Included Ambrotype: Great Occupational shot of an older gentleman holding a wooden tool, perhaps a carpenter.
Photograph in lovely ornate brass mat and protector, no protective glass
Case measures approx. 4-7/8" W x 4" H x 7/8" Thick (closed)
Great addition for any collection!
Condition:
Case is worn with some large cracks and chips on the exterior. The interior has a lightly worn purple velvet cushion, good working original brass hinges, and good working clasps. The Included ambrotype is in very good condition. There are a few tiny scratches on the image, and some very light dust.
