8 Small Dutch Onion Bottle 1750's Rolled Over Flared Lip Open Pontil

$ 5.27

Availability: 75 in stock
  • Time Period Manufactured: Antique (Pre-1900)
  • Condition: You are bidding on eight small Dutch Onion bottles that are less than one inch tall. As shown in the photos, all of them have damage, mostly to the lip edge. As many of you know when you are digging bottles, not all of them come out in one piece. I still think these are great example of the glass blowing trade back in the mid 1700's. They date to the 1750's and have a rolled over flared lip with an open pontil mark. I sold some of my collection to Ronald Saylor several years ago, and he being one of the best known collector of these little bottles found them to be outstanding. Have a look at the attached photos. The twelve bottles shown in the attached photos are what you will be shipped.
