1988 Chevrolet S10 Custom Street/Strip Truck. This truck was acquired by one of our dealer acquaintances and he kept it around as a toy for a little while but like with everything else it ended up sitting with no time to enjoy so it was time to go. Previous owner provided this information we cannot look inside the motor to verify but it all seems to be proper from the description that we have had. 354 bolt main 30 over bore, GM steel crank manily rods, JE pistons comp valve springs, 1.6 rockers, MSD6 digital Box, 6 quart oil pan running VR one racing oil, headman headers, 373 gears with positive traction unit, Edelbrock intake, Lunati 556 cam, 20 gallon fuel cell, Holley blue fuel pump, 350 turbo with shift kit, 2300 stall converter, auto meter gauges, reasonably fresh paint, cowl hood, custom wheels and tires and much more. This is a good sounding great running very solid truck that you could not build for the selling price or even close. Not a race truck but a fun street toy. For financing assistance with multiple credit unions and lenders in state and out of state apply at (Please realize some vehicles may not qualify with all banks and all out of state situations; feel free to call ahead to verify.) In 1976, Davis Auto Sales opened in the southern part of Chesterfield County branching off from the already existing Davis Auto Repair family run business which was started in the early 1950’s by TL Davis, Jr. Jimmy Davis, always a mechanical handyman, saw a way to buy and repair vehicles in his spare time to make extra money. Always tinkering, his passion became a business. Instead of doing things against the rules, as many today still do, he made it legal -- got the licensing needed and Davis Auto Sales was born. Mr.Davis was running the show by day and Gail Davis (wife) was handling the books at night, while still working in a corporate career. Being in a rural area, the business had small beginnings specializing in trucks, 4x4 vehicles, some large sedans, and station wagons. As the times changed, and the localized community that traveled on the rural Woodpecker Road location branched out, it was time to look for a more visible location.
