Description

Large 20" x 41" Church & Dwight Birds Poster. The poster is in near mint condition and touts the many benefits of "Birds - Nature's Protector.  The 1938 poster has pictures of 30 beneficial birds reproduced from Louis Agassiz Fuertes artwork. In addition, there is information about protecting birds and making bird houses. The front has a promotion for the company's Arm & Hammer and Cow Brand Baking Soda. The back has plans for classroom studies involving birds. Church & Dwight are better known for their series of bird cards which are the same (9th & 10th Series) birds that are shown on this unusual poster.  The poster has metal rims on the top and bottom along with a metal loop for hanging.  (see photos)
