1909 LIBERTY "V" NICKEL SMALL WHITE ANACS MS 64 GORGEOUS ROSE GOLD LUSTER and a frustratingly elusive date. With a contemporaneously low mintage of 11,585,763, the 1909 Nickel was apparently mostly overlooked. Everybody was saving varieties of new Lincoln cents, with little to no attention being paid to this perceived  common "pedestrian" issue. Populations at all TPG services bear out the scarcity of the 1909 Lib 5c in Mint State.
