Here's another crude early blackglass case gin bottle that we dug from an 1850s privy pit with mostly pontiled bottles...(you are only buying the ONE larger size bottle on the left; the small size is listed separately).......no embossing....hand blown in a tapered dip mold, or free blown, so there are no mold seams....early smooth base ...crude applied flattened ring or flared lip....dark olive green blackglass....tapered square case gin with crude "footed" base.....9 5/8"tall.....Excellent condition with no chips or damage of any kind. A dug bottle with normal light haze. These are getting much more difficult to find these days as the digging has all but dried up....
