    Description

    This is one of those hard to find early Ambrotypes , on glass , the subject is a women with a primitive bonnet, worn the early 1800's, the matte is plain as were the first photographs in the period. The case is amazingly good condition, fitting together tight, and the velvet a tiny faded as expected, the locking eye and hook work well.
