--- Leather case is shaped like a traditional book with embossed decorations and titled on the spine "Friendships Offering".  Case measures 4-7/8" x 4" x close to 7/8" thick.   Case is missing a clasp.  Splits top and bottom spine edge of cover board.  A few small holes on spine at edges. Cover board has a slight warp.  Inside cover board missing inside leather trim to the right of the velvet pad and also on the left edge of the case bottom (to the left of the photo on the spine as shown).  That area shows the exposed wood of the case bottom frame. Upper right and lower right corners of bottom case frame edge has some facing loss as shown (the leather with gold gilding around the outer edge).  Appears to have had applied colors to outer embossed decorations/flowers, some of those areas have what looks like glue residue as if something was attached, or worn facing through the colored area.  Facing chip to the lower right inside front decoration with facing scratch (sort of blends in so hard to describe it).  Some of the backing behind the glass image has chipping (see lower center coat area).  No subject name/location/date.
